The boys’ soccer team beat Springfield 6-0 on Thursday.
The boys started off strong during the first half. The first goal was scored by senior Westin Fryberger with an assist from senior Brady Costin. Costin then scored a second goal for the team, putting ’Stoga in a 2-0 lead by halftime.
During the second half, ’Stoga continued its scoring streak with two goals being made by seniors Kole Wintersteen and Julian Gomez, respectively. Sophomore Ryan Monroe followed with another goal, and the sixth and final one was made by senior Aria Azad, securing a 6-0 win for the Pioneers.
The boys play their next game on Saturday, Oct. 7 against Holy Ghost Prep.
