On Tuesday, the girls’ varsity soccer team played Lower Merion, winning 1-0 during their whiteout theme game.
In the first minutes of the game, senior Natalie Yarmark crossed the ball to junior Jane Lofland who scored the first and only goal of the game. During the second half, senior Harley Karbiner dove in front of the goal to block a close shot from Lower Merion. The girls continued to maintain a strong offense and defense throughout the entire game, leading to their victory of 1-0.
The girls’ next game will be on Thursday, Oct. 5 against Springfield.
