The boys’ varsity soccer team played against Parkland on Saturday, winning 5-1.
The two teams went head-to-head, with no goals being scored during the beginning of the game. Senior and goalie Ryan Carella made many saves, and senior Brady Costin scored a goal, securing a score of 1-0 by the end of the first half.
Following halftime, senior Michael Haley scored two goals in succession. Maintaining this lead, senior Kole Wintersteen and sophomore Ryan Monroe scored two more goals, winning the game 5-1.
The boys play their next game against Lower Merion on Tuesday, Oct. 3.
