Conestoga held its graduation for the Class of 2023 on June 6. The ceremony began at 7 p.m. after a one-hour rain delay. The program started with senior Camerata members singing the national anthem, shortly followed by speeches from principal Dr. Amy Meisinger, superintendent of schools Dr. Richard Gusick and school board President Dr. Roberta Hotinski.
Joining them were seniors and student commencement speakers Anish Garimidi, Clara Kantorczyk and Jaela Eaton. Seniors Scott Angelides and Macy Danenhower sang “Middle of a Moment” as the designated musical act, accompanied by seniors and pianist Hannah Zhang, drummer David Leighton and bassist Paul Doyle.
After each senior’s name was called, class members threw their caps in the air, officially making them high school graduates.
