Girls Basketball beats Springford 39-35

The girls’ varsity basketball team won a back-and-forth game against the Springford Cougars at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 19. At halftime, the Pioneers were up 15-11 and they continued the momentum into the second half. By the end of the third quarter, the girls maintained their narrow lead with a score of 23-19.
In the fourth quarter, Conestoga and Springford passed the lead back and forth, eventually ending the game with a 39-35 win for the Pioneers.
The girls are now 11-3 and will play their next game at home on Jan. 21 against Great Valley.
