White-out win: Varsity soccer wins against Garnet Valley

Girls’ varsity soccer fought hard for a White-out win against Garnet Valley on Tuesday night. Under the lights, the girls ended the game with a 1-0 victory.
With 43 seconds to go in the first half, sophomore Amelie Stewart scored off a penalty kick to put them in the lead going into the second half. For the rest of the game, the girls kept Garnet in their half of the field, holding them to a 1-0 shutout.
The girls play their next game on Thursday, against Penncrest High school.
