The Conestoga boys squash team was victorious in their faceoff against Germantown Friends School on Thursday, Dec. 16. The team both started and finished strong, without dropping a single game, concluding with a final score of 9-0 in matches and 27-0 in games.
Sophomore Ethan Liu and juniors Alex Gan and Michael Xiang began the match for Conestoga. Liu swept past his opponent through their three games, winning 11-3, 11-4, 11-7. Xiang was also in complete control of his match as he won 11-1, 11-6, 11-7, while Gan played a close match before a victorious 11-7, 11-7, 11-7 win. Junior Alex Wang finished the day with a dominant match against GFS, winning 11-7, 11-5, 11-2.
