The Conestoga boys ice hockey team took down Garnet Valley 7-3 in its themed “ice out game” on Friday, Dec. 10. Junior Dom Mascieri and junior Andrew Pisano scored three goals, while sophomore Devon Heckman scored his first varsity goal.
The Pioneers started off strong, scoring first in the first period. The team added four more goals in the second half, before the team saw multiple players sent to the penalty box, resulting in a momentum shift towards Garnet Valley, who were able to put up three goals. However, the team sealed the victory in the third period with two final goals, putting up 33 shots in total.
