The boys’ varsity soccer team came out on top in their first round of states against Warwick on Tuesday, Nov. 9. The pioneers started the game off strong with a goal scored by senior Sebastian Tis within the first three minutes. With the help of senior Lorenzo Vargas-Clarke, senior Jayce Tharnish made another goal, securing a 2-0 lead for the team by the end of the first half. The boys maintained their advantage during the second half, finishing the game with a goal scored by senior Colin Wurth that gave the pioneers a 3-0 victory.
The boys will play their next game against Dallastown on Saturday, Nov. 13. Check out some photos below!
