Girls field hockey faced Downingtown West in PIAA District One semi finals on Tuesday, Nov. 2. Downingtown West served as a tough opponent for Conestoga, with a tied score of 1-1 at the end of the first half. Stoga’s strong defense stole the win, stopping Downingtown West from scoring in the second half. The final score of the game was 2-1, with goals scored by Kate Galica and Shae Wozniak. The field hockey team will now proceed to district finals, facing Garnet Valley on Saturday.
