On Monday, May 17, the Conestoga varsity girls softball team lost to Garnet Valley 15-1. Getting off to an early lead, Garnet Valley was up 10-0 by the third inning. However, during the bottom of the third inning, senior Katie Chuss stole two bases to get to third base, and junior Libby Winters brought Chuss to fourth, which scored Conestoga’s only run in the game. Despite this tough loss, Conestoga is hoping to win their next game against Coatesville Area Highschool to earn a spot in the state championship.
