Despite the bitter cold and breezy wind, the varsity girl’s field hockey team won their game against Upper Darby 13-0 on Nov. 2. Kate Galica, Carly Hynd, and Paige Ziegler led the team by each scoring two points. The girls played good defense throughout the game, preventing the ball from going into their net and keeping it on the opposing side. At half-time, Conestoga was winning with a 9-0 lead, and closed out the game by scoring four additional points.
