The Associated Press declared a projected victory for former Vice President Joe Biden over President Donald Trump in the 2020 presidential election on Saturday, Nov. 7, after Biden won the battleground state of Pennsylvania. Biden, a Democrat who served as President Barack Obama’s VP, is the oldest president ever elected at 78 years old. Biden’s Vice President, California senator Kamala Harris, is also making history as the first female, Black, or Asian American person to hold that post. President-elect Biden will be sworn as the the 46th president of the United States on Jan. 20, 2021.
