On Halloween, the boys’ and girls’ cross country teams competed in their second Central League meet of the season against Harriton, Marple Newtown and Penncrest. Conestoga beat all three teams in both the boys’ and girls’ races. In the boys race, senior Charlie Miller and junior Vincente Pena placed first and second respectively, and in the girls race junior Ella Warkentine, junior Karis Blagden, sophomore Julia Harris, and junior Molly Ryle placed second to fifth. The teams will next compete at the Central League championships on Nov. 7.
