On Friday, Feb. 7, the boys’ varsity basketball team beat Upper Darby in a close game with a score of 51-48 in their final home game of their regular season.
Prior to the game, the boys and the basketball cheerleaders celebrated their senior night, with the seniors of both sports and their families being celebrated for their achievements in their years at Conestoga.
The boys were neck-in-neck with the Royals for the majority of the game, going back and forth between leading and losing. With consistent and strong play on offense and defense, the Pioneers pulled off the win against the fellow Central-League team, 51-48.
