The ‘Stoga Pioneers faced off against the Lower Merion High School football team on Saturday, October 5.
The game got off to an exciting start with Conestoga taking the lead in the first half with 21 points to Lower Merion’s 0.
Conestoga played strong the entire game with several touchdowns by Captain Scott Smith and Senior Liam Kirk. The pioneers played excellent defense, only allowing Lower Merion to score once at the beginning of the fourth quarter.
In the end, Conestoga won 47 to 6. It was an exciting second win of the season for the Pioneers.
The ‘Stoga Pioneers will next face Springfield High School in an away game on Friday, October 11.
