On Oct. 30, Conestoga won against Penn Ridge High School for the District Semi-finals. The Pioneers took the lead just one minute in with a goal from senior, Emily Wertz. Twenty minutes later, the Pioneers struck again after a goal from junior, Kaitlyn Donovan, bringing the score to 2-0 at the end of the first half.
The second half of the game passed with attempts to score from both sides. With 10 minutes left on the clock, Penn Ridge scored their first goal of the match. Conestoga held its lead and walked away victors of the game.
The Pioneers will play Ephrata High School during the District Championships on Nov. 3.
