Girls’ Varsity Tennis triumphs against Mount Saint Joseph’s Academy

On Oct. 2, the girls’ varsity tennis team faced off against Mount Saint Joseph’s High Academy at the Upper Main Line YMCA.

Playing both singles and doubles, the Pioneers won the game with a final score of 3-1. First singles, Cassidy Landau played a tough opponent, engaging in stretched out rallies, finishing the match with a close win. Third singles was played by Ananya Krishanan who won her match with a great driving game. First doubles played by Leena Kwak and Olivia Dodge as well as second doubles played by Kate Wieser and Sophia Mazza won their matches as well, bringing home the win for ’Stoga. At this time, Senior Priya Arvindan and her opponent who were fighting hard for a win decided to end their game as the match had already gone to ’Stoga.
