Football and Flannels: Varsity Football Wins Against Upper Darby

Varsity football kicked off the Friday night flannel game with a touchdown made by senior Peter Costigan and a field goal scored by kicker Charlie White. In concluding the first quarter, the team worked together to maintain their lead. Senior Brody Eaton stunned the crowd with a touchdown at the beginning of the second quarter, securing a lead of 14-0 for Stoga.
Following a halftime performance from the Marching Pioneers, the Pioneers defense stood their ground in the third quarter. Upper Darby attempted to make a comeback, scoring both a touchdown and a field goal, but Conestoga prevented further advancements. Ultimately, the Pioneers won 20-7, improving their record to 5-1.
