On Tuesday night the Conestoga girls’ varsity basketball team faced off against Penncrest on their home court. The first point of the game was scored by ‘Stoga’s own number 13, senior, Cat Esbenshade. With four minutes to go in the first quarter, Penncrest pulled ahead after making two foul shot. By the end of the second quarter, the lady pioneers had gained the lead 23-16 after sophomore, Emily Lortz whipped the ball to Esbenshade who made another basket. The ‘Stoga girls held the lead for the rest of the game, and finished off with two foul shots from Lortz to win the game 47-31.
