Enjoy fast service and delicious, wholesome food. Grab the Spicy Garlic stir-fry or one of Honeygrow’s tastefully layered salads.
Honeygrow’s building, distinctively shaped like a bee hive, serves as a kind of welcome sign for the King of Prussia Town Center. It’s one of the Center’s most popular spots, and for good reason—Honeygrow’s food is both delicious and convenient.
Honeygrow is a successful chain that aims to be just as efficient as fast-food, but with healthier, more wholesome ingredients. Their KOP location completely delivers. Their stir-fries and salads are tastefully layered, their service simple and extremely efficient. At Honeygrow, customers order on chic touchscreens (yes, they deserve to be called chic), able to exchange ingredients from suggested dishes or create dishes from scratch. Your meal is usually finished in about 5 minutes, an impressive feat when the line ends at the door. Keep in mind that even when there’s what seems to be an insufferably long line, it moves quickly.a Sesame Garlic stir-fry and Winter Kale salad, as well as cold-pressed juice and a brand name fountain drink.
My go-to dish is the Spicy Garlic. If you love feeling your mouth burn, you won’t be disappointed. I find myself reaching for the water every few bites. The spice almost overwhelms the flavor, but doesn’t—which is fortunate, because the flavor is fantastic. There’s a fruity tang to it from the pineapples, faint hints of chili peppers and cilantro.
If you’re not looking for something spicy, skip Spicy Garlic’s counterpart Sesame Garlic (which overdoes it on the soy sauce and offers little flavor). Instead get Sweet Soy Five Spice, or better yet, a salad. Honeygrow’s salads easily surpass Saladwork’s. They’re well-thought out in both the mixture of flavors and the layering of textures. Plus, their flexibility means you can change a few ingredients and still enjoy a great salad.
Definitely grab a drink if you get a spicy dish. Their cold-pressed juice is delicious, but not worth six dollars per 12.6 fl oz bottle. Instead get one of their refillable brand name fountain drinks, made with pure cane sugar (as opposed to artificial sweeteners and high-fructose corn syrup).
And Honeygrow’s signature Honeybar is definitely worth a try if you’re willing to pay extra. It offers your own combination of honey (pick from several different kinds), fruits, and toppings.
Honeygrow is my personal favorite of the King of Prussia Town Center. It’s perfect for when you’re in a rush, and for when you just want to sit back, relax and enjoy their aesthetic.
