On the morning of March 20, Conestoga students donned black pants, jackets, and t-shirts as they milled through the hallways. The African-American Students Union organized a “Blackout Against Racism” event. Through a Good Morning ‘Stoga broadcast the morning prior, they encouraged students to wear black in support of the fight against racism and discrimination. The club also distributed black ribbons for students to pin and wear.
